Maple between Franklin and Inkster closes March 2

In anticipation of a road resurfacing project by the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) on Maple Road between Franklin and Inkster roads, Maple will be closed from March 2 through March 12 for continued utility relocation work.

The start date is weather dependent, and could change, RCOC said.

The work will take place along Maple Road between Indianwood Trail and Apple Grove Court. Access to homes and businesses along this section will be maintained during the roadwork.

The detour for the closure is Franklin Road to Walnut Lake Road to Inkster Road, back to Maple Road, and vice versa.
