Men arrested in township home invasion

Three men were arrested in connection with a home invasion on Thursday, November 18, in the 1600 block of Bloomfield Place Drive, police said.


Officers with the Bloomfield Township Police Department responded about 10:30 p.m. November 18, to the call of a home invasion in progress in the 1600 block of Bloomfield Place Drive. The victim told police that four men wearing dark clothing were attempting to force their way into his apartment.


Officers responding to the scene located three men matching the description given by the victim. All three were arrested in connection with the home invasion. One of the men was in possession of a firearm and charged with a weapons offense.


All three men were arraigned on Sunday, November 21, before 52-1 District Court Magistrate Victor Zanolli and were housed in the Oakland County Jail.
