Money stolen from car parked in home garage

A resident reported that money was stolen from their car, which was parked in the home's garage in the 1100 block of Hillside Drive in Birmingham, on Tuesday, January 16.

The victim told police that about $10 was stolen from their car.

According to the victim, the garage door was open and the car was unlocked when the incident went down.

Birmingham police said an investigation is underway.
