Mooning incident ends with arrest of suspect

A Birmingham man was arrested for indecent exposure and disorderly conduct in a traffic incident on Sunday, August 3.

At approximately 2 p.m., Birmingham police were dispatched to East Maple Avenue and Edenborough Road for a report of indecent exposure. A 33-year-old Clawson man and his 31-year-old wife reported that a man stopped his vehicle on eastbound Maple, got out and began yelling at the driver of the vehicle in front of them, a 56-year-old Birmingham woman.

The suspect, a 52-year-old Birmingham man, then lowered his shorts and exposed his buttocks toward the woman and the Clawson couple. The suspect was arrested and charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.
