The Bloomfield Township Police Department on Sunday, May 11, took five reports for attempted larceny from automobiles and one report for actual larceny from an automobile in the township.

In all six cases the vehicles were unlocked and contents of the vehicle were rummaged through, police said. A wallet was stolen containing credit cards that the thieves used to make purchases.

The credit card case was turned over to the Bloomfield Township Investigations unit and is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call the police department at 248.433.7755.
