During the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 1, Birmingham police received six different reports of attempted vehicle break-ins in multiple locations of the city: the 700 block of Wimbleton, the 400 and 900 blocks of Henley, the 900 and 1000 blocks of Tottenham and the 800 block of Shepardbush.

According to the police report, all the vehicles were parked outside between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. One car had a broken window while another had window damage, and three unlocked cars had been searched through. The only property theft listed in the report was about $4 worth of change stolen from one of the cars.

Birmingham police say an investigation is ongoing.
