Nike hats lifted from Dick's Sporting Goods

A woman stole eight Nike hats, worth $212, from the Bloomfield Township Dick's Sporting Goods store on Tuesday, April 23.

Employees at the store, located at 2105 S. Telegraph Road, reported to Bloomfield Township police that a Black woman came into the store around 9 a.m. and went to the Nike area. She selected eight hats, which totaled $212. She then left the store, disregarding all checkouts, without paying for the merchandise.

According to witnesses, she left the area in a dark gray Chevrolet Malibu.

The case is being investigated by the Bloomfield Township Police Investigations Division.
