Parked vehicle stolen along with golf clubs

A Northville man parked his vehicle in downtown Birmingham on Friday, July 21, for a couple of hours, and when he returned, he discovered the vehicle was gone, along with an expensive set of golf clubs.

The victim, a 42-year-old man, reported to Birmingham police that he had parked in the 100 block of Chester Street, and when he returned around 6 p.m., his vehicle was gone and there was broken glass on the ground. Inside the vehicle, the victim told police, he had a set of golf clubs valued at $1,500.

According to witnesses, two male suspects wearing black face masks and gloves were seen entering the vehicle.

Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing.
