Passenger dies in vehicle rollover crash

The Bloomfield Township Police Department on Friday, January 23, responded to the area of northbound I-75 freeway and South Boulevard for a serious injury crash which resulted in the death of a passenger in the vehicle.

Traffic Investigation Officers, along with members of the South Oakland County Crash Investigation Team (SOCCIT), were called to the scene and investigated a single vehicle, rollover crash.

The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old male, and the passenger, a 45-year-old male, both of Davison, Michigan, were transported to Trinity Health Oakland Hospital with serious injuries. The passenger of the vehicle ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased later that day.

The crash is currently under investigation by members of the Bloomfield Township Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit.
