While driving along the 200 block of S. Old Woodward around 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, a Bloomfield Hills man alleged a pedestrian trying to cross in the crosswalk came up to his car and broke his windshield and one of his side mirrors.

According to the victim, he stopped driving through an intersection, in which he had the green light, because he saw a pedestrian trying to cross the street in the crosswalk. He said the pedestrian then came up to the car and caused the damage, which Birmingham police reported multiple witnesses confirmed.

The pedestrian was reportedly arrested and charged with disturbing the peace, and also given a citation for a civil infraction for violating the pedestrian signal.
