Piano recently placed in Shain Park vandalized

The painted piano recently placed in Shain Park at Henrietta Street and Townsend Street in downtown Birmingham was found vandalized around 8 a.m. on Sunday, July 16.


The piano was placed in the park by the city,


Birmingham police reported that some of the piano keys were missing, and others had been glued down. While there aren’t currently any witnesses or suspects, police are investigating the vandalism.
