Plum Market calls police on theft of tequila

Bloomfield Township police on Tuesday, June 3, were called to Plum Market at 3675 W. Maple Road to take a report of retail fraud at the grocery store.


A manager at the store told police that at approximately 1:45 p.m. a suspect came into the store and stole four bottles of Don Julio tequila, which had a total value of $308.63.


The suspect was described as a black male wearing glasses, a hat, green Carhartt sweatshirt, black pants and black tennis shoes.


The case was turned over to the Bloomfield Township Investigations unit and is currently under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact the
