Police arrest man for warrant during traffic stop

Birmingham police were able to execute a felony warrant on a man from South Lyon after he was pulled over on Friday, May 14, for expired license plate tabs on Woodward Avenue.

A Birmingham office pulled the man over after noticing the expired tabs at around 8:30 a.m. When he checked the registration, he found out the driver had a felony warrant out for two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

He was arrested in Birmingham and transferred over to the Michigan State Police.
