Police investigate township home break-in

Bloomfield Township police are investigating a break-in that occurred on the evening of Saturday, February 11, at a home in the 1900 block of Sherwood Glen.


Police said the victims arrived home about 10 p.m. to find the master bedroom door locked from the inside, and a broken door to the patio. Officers arrived at the home and made sure the house was clear of any intruders. During the search, it was discovered that several belongings from inside the master bedroom were missing.


Investigators believe the burglary occurred sometime between 5:30 and 10 p.m.


Police ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
