Police recover stolen township SUV

A sport utility vehicle stolen on Thursday, March 5, from the 200 block of S. Williamsbury Road in Bloomfield Township was recovered by police.


Bloomfield Township police said the victim parked her 2020 Ford Explorer in her driveway the previous day and believes it was stolen in the early morning hours.


Police said the victim was able to locate the vehicle using the Ford Pass application. Police found the vehicle with all four wheels missing. There were no signs of forced entry.


The theft is under investigation. Police ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
