Birmingham police are investigating an alleged car theft that took place the night between Saturday, November 29, and Sunday, November 30, on the 500 block of S Glenhurst.

According to the owner of the car, his car was left in his driveway overnight, possibly with a set of keys inside, and when he realized the next morning, it was missing, his car’s tracking app placed it in Detroit.

Birmingham police reported that Detroit police officers did not see the car at the address, and an investigation is ongoing.
