Purse stolen from parked car at gym

Birmingham police said a purse was stolen on Friday, November 5, from a vehicle parked at the parking lot of a local gym.


Police responded about 6 a.m. to Orangetheory, 700 S. Adams, for the report of burglary from a vehicle. Police said the victim, a 53-year-old Bloomfield Hills resident, was at the gym when someone broke out a rear window and stole her purse.


Birmingham police are investigating.
