Purse taken from Birmingham front porch

A Birmingham resident was planning to return a purse worth roughly $2,600 when he set it outside his front door on Thursday, February 29, at around 10 a.m.

Shortly after setting the purse down, the man realized that it had been stolen off the porch, and he called police.

Birmingham police did not provide an address where the incident took place, but they report an investigation is ongoing.
