Restaurant patron arrested on drug charges

:

After acting out in a Birmingham restaurant on the 100 block of S. Old Woodward on Thursday, January 9, a Grosse Pointe woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

Birmingham police officers were called to the restaurant when staff became worried about the woman’s welfare due to her acting ‘belligerent.’ When officers spoke to the woman, they noticed she may have been intoxicated.

Reportedly, officers found a pill bottle containing prescription drugs and placed the woman under arrest for possession of a controlled substance. It is unclear whether the pill bottle was found on her person or among her possessions.
