RH Detroit, The Gallery opens this Friday

The long-awaited RH, formerly known as Restoration Hardware, will officially open its first Design Gallery in Michigan, RH Detroit, The Gallery in Birmingham, with a grand opening ceremony on Friday, November 21, at 11 a.m., located at 300 S. Old Woodward Avenue in Birmingham.
RH Detroit represents the brand’s quest to revolutionize physical retailing, integrating artistic installations of RH Collections with rare art, antiques and artifacts from across the globe, according to company officials.
RH Detroit also features the RH Rooftop Restaurant, offering a curated menu of American and Mediterranean classics. The four-story building is a multi-level contemporary structure filled with fresh air and natural light, with a custom Italian brick facade. Visitors will pass through the 10-foot glass and bronze-finished doors into the Great Room with floor-to-ceiling columns and an installation of tiered, chandeliers. Along the periphery, a classical arrangement of rooms presents RH Interiors, an homage to refined designs across the ages, and RH Modern, a tribute to 20th-century modernism comprising pieces from industry icons.
Hours of operation for the store are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. RH Rooftop Restaurant hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.;and Sunday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
RH was originally proposed to be part of a larger retail and office development with underground parking at the site of the existing North Old Woodward parking structure, a bond for which Birmingham voters rejected in August of 2019.
