Royal Oak man arrested for assault

A 21-year-old Royal Oak man was arrested in connection with an alleged assault that occurred while he and another man were working as tree trimmers in Bloomfield Hills.

Bloomfield Hills Public Safety said officers were called about 8:57 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5, to the 200 block of Guilford where two tree trimmers were fighting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, a 41-year-old Detroit man, with a three-inch cut to his face. The man was treated and transported to an area hospital.

Police said the Royal Oak man was located later that day in Troy and arrested on suspicion of assault. He was subsequently arraigned in 48th District Court on a charge of felonious assault and held on $10,000 bond.
