Scooter stolen while parking during Village Fair

A $479 scooter was stolen from a parking lot at Henrietta and Martin streets on the night of Saturday, June 1, after the owner had parked it to attend the Village Fair at Shain Park.

The victim’s mother told Birmingham police that he parked the scooter and when he went back a couple of hours later it was missing. Luckily, he was able to lock the scooter to keep it from moving using an app.

Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing.
