Scooters stolen from youngsters at Booth Park

A pair of kids had their scooters stolen while they were riding around at Booth Park, located on Harmon Avenue and N. Old Woodward Avenue in Birmingham, on Saturday, May 25, at around 10 a.m.

One of the two to have their scooter taken told Birmingham police they were riding around the park with friends, eventually leaving the scooter at a bike rack in the park. However, the scooter wasn’t locked to the bike rack.

When they came back to the bike rack, the scooters were missing.

Birmingham police said they are investigating.
