Scuffle at 220 Merrill Street bar in city

A 32-year-old Lincoln Park man was arrested in Birmingham around midnight on Saturday, October 18, at 220 Merrill after becoming aggressive with security guards and causing a scuffle.

Per the police report, several complaints were made against the man for his behavior and intoxication, which caused the security guards to try to remove him from the premises. One of the security guards was injured during the incident but reportedly did not want to press assault charges against the man.

Police reported the man was given a citation for disorderly conduct but did not indicate if he had been arrested.
