Second annual BRRmingham Blast January 25

:

Downtown Birmingham will be the home of the second annual BRRmingham Blast event on Saturday, January 25 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., which will include free entertainment, food trucks and activities for all ages.


The event takes place in the heart of downtown Birmingham, along South Old Woodward Avenue from Maple Road to Brown Street.


The BRRmingham Blast event will include:


Zip Line: Thrill seekers of all ages are invited to ride the 300-foot-long zip line free of charge during the event. Participants must weigh a minimum of 40 lbs. and a maximum of 225 lbs. and be at least 6 years of age to ride the zip line.


Food Trucks: A variety of food trucks will be serving up savory favorites and warm sweets for purchase, plus for those who prefer to dine-in, the city offers an array of restaurants.


Warming Tent and Entertainment: Warm up with family-friendly entertainment including a magic show (at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.) and story time courtesy of the Baldwin Public Library (at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.).


Marshmallow Roasting: Gather around the fires for free marshmallow roasting all day.


Retail Sales: Downtown Birmingham’s many local and national retailers will be open during the event, so be sure to schedule some time to shop post-holiday sales and new 2025 merchandise.


Parking is convenient and free at all municipal structures during the event.
