Smash-and-grab burglars hit Shell station

Birmingham police are investigating a smash-and-grab burglary early Wednesday, January 20, at a Shell gas station in the 3300 block of Woodward.


Officers responding about 3 a.m. to an alarm at the Shell gas station, 33600 Woodward, arrived to find someone had broken out the front glass door and made entry into the building. Liquor, cigars and two cash register drawers were taken.


Birmingham police are investigating.
