Stolen vehicle found parked on Bates Street

A Birmingham resident’s stolen car was found after being taken from the service drive along Woodward and Maple on Friday, May 19.

The victim told police that he parked his car in the service drive around 1 p.m. but the car was gone when he came back. Witnesses reported seeing two individuals in white clothing get in the car and drive away at around 3:30 p.m.

Police were able to later find the car parked along Bates Street with nothing missing from inside. They said an investigation is underway.
