Stolen vehicle recovered after chase

A patrol officer noticed a vehicle on Southfield and 14 Mile roads in Birmingham, traveling at a high rate of speed on Wednesday, October 26, which turned out to be a stolen vehicle.


The officer turned on his vehicle’s emergency lights and attempted to stop the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle turned off all of the car’s lights and continued to flee from the officer, who proceeded to pursue the vehicle until it entered neighboring cities.


Birmingham Police report the chase concluded in Berkley, when the suspects left the vehicle and fled from Berkley officers on foot.


Birmingham police reported that vehicle had been reported stolen.
