Stolen vehicle recovered next day in Detroit

A vehicle was stolen from the 5200 block of Pon Valley Drive in Bloomfield Township and was discovered the next day in Detroit.


On Wednesday, December 17, the Bloomfield Township Police Department took a report of the stolen vehicle that occurred during the overnight hours. The victim’s 2024 Lincoln Navigator was stolen from the driveway. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were inside, according to the police report.


On December 18 the Bloomfield Township Police Department received notice from Detroit

police that the vehicle was recovered in their jurisdiction. The vehicle was intact and there was no

significant damage. The vehicle was processed for evidence; no suspects are in custody at this time.


The case remains under investigation, police said.
