The Bloomfield Township Police Department on Tuesday, August 26, took a report of a stolen vehicle in the afternoon from the area of 500 N. Fox Hills Drive and the vehicle was recovered later that evening.

The victim arrived at her residence at approximately 2:05 p.m. and left the vehicle, a white Jeep Cherokee, running and the doors unlocked while she entered her home. At 2:15 p.m. the victim noticed that her vehicle was gone.

On the same date at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle in the area of Opdyke and South Boulevard. Multiple suspects were taken into custody and the vehicle was recovered.
