Storage units broken into but nothing taken

Bloomfield Township police on Monday, December 8, responded to the iStorage Self Storage facility located at 1782 Pontiac Drive for multiple storage units that were broken into.


Multiple units had the exterior locks cut and removed, according to the police report. The storage units contained multiple valuable items, but nothing was taken. A set of bolt cutters were retrieved from the scene and collected for evidence, police said.


The case was turned over to the Bloomfield Township Investigations Unit and is currently being investigated. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
