Store window broken during overnight hours

A window to a Birmingham business on the 200 block of West Maple Road was smashed overnight on Wednesday, July 5, according to the store manager.


The manager said to Birmingham police that the window was fine the day before. According to the report, a fastener nut was lying near the shattered window which appeared to be what caused the break.


Police state there are no witnesses or suspects currently but an investigation is ongoing.
