A West Bloomfield man was arrested in Birmingham the night of Wednesday, October 14, after allegedly following another man around town, running a red light and making an illegal turn to catch up.

Birmingham police reported that, after the victim called the police and drove to the station, the suspect got out of his car, ignored the officers’ commands and tried to walk away. Police also said he later “assumed an aggressive stance” and a knife was found near the driver’s seat of his car.

The suspect was arrested and police confirmed an investigation is ongoing.
