Suspect arrested for breaking into parked cars

A suspect with a warrant out from the Clinton Township police department was arrested in Birmingham on Wednesday, June 19, around 11 a.m. after allegedly being caught breaking into cars.


According to a report from the Birmingham police department, a man from Clinton Township was seen breaking into multiple parked cars on the 600 block of East Maple. Officers were able to find the suspect and talked to him and they later found out that he had the outstanding warrant.


He was placed under arrest and transferred to the Clinton Township police.
