Suspect arrested for pulling gun at grocery store

A 45-year-old suspect was arrested on Thursday, October 5, after pulling a gun and pointing it at another customer at the Kroger on 4099 Telegraph Road at Long Lake Road in Bloomfield Township.

Bloomfield Township police were called at 5:20 p.m. and immediately found the suspect, Isaiah Anthony Ware, while he was exiting the store. He was then ordered to the ground and taken into custody.

Witnesses spoke to police and told them they had observed Ware with a pistol by his side, threatening to kill the other customer.

The Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office reviewed the report and issued Ware with a one-count felony warrant for assault with a dangerous weapon. He was arraigned on Friday, October 6, at the 48th District Court.

Ware was issued a $10,000/10 percent cash bond, and was released after posting bond. He is currently awaiting further court proceedings.
