Bloomfield Township police were dispatched to Kroger, located at 4099 Telegraph Road, for a retail fraud in progress on Sunday, July 5, and a suspect was arrested.

Officers arrived on scene at approximately 8 p.m. and located the suspect and the stolen merchandise in the adjacent gas station parking lot.

The recovered merchandise included 33 different food items totaling $307.77. Ebony Monea-Evette Haden, 35-year-old female, was placed under arrest for retail fraud first degree. Haden was transported to the Bloomfield Township Police Department for processing.

The Oakland County Prosecutors Office issued a one count warrant for retail fraud first degree for Haden. On July 5 Haden was arraigned in front of 48th District Court Magistrate Richardson and was given a $10,000 bond.
