The Bloomfield Township Police Department on Wednesday, April 23, took a report for retail Fraud third degree from the Dollar Tree store at 1571 S. Opdyke Road.

It was reported that a black male, wearing a black head covering, red shirt, black pants and black and red Nike shoes stole candy and frozen food from the store.

The officer who responded checked the area for the subject but was unable to locate him. On April 24 the same officer who took the original report saw a man fitting the description of the suspect walking in the area. The officer stopped and talked to the suspect, identified as Isaac Davis, and issued him a citation for retail fraud third degree.

The case was turned over to the Bloomfield Township Investigations unit and is currently under investigation.
