Suspect seen breaking into Dodge truck

Around 2 a.m. on Monday, July 31, a man wearing a ski mask was seen breaking into a Dodge pickup truck that was parked at Redding and Woodward in Birmingham.

According to the witness, the suspect wearing the ski mask ran up to an SUV with blacked-out windows holding a tablet-sized object and fled the scene.

When officers checked the area, they found the pickup truck with its rear window broken and the glove box sifted through. Birmingham police said they have not yet identified the suspect, but an investigation is underway.
