Suspects arrested after attempted car theft

Birmingham police officers responded to a report of an attempted vehicle theft on the 100 block of Catalpa Drive in Birmingham on Friday, September 9, where the owner said someone tried to get into his vehicle.


Witnesses reported seeing three suspects, wearing dark colored outfits and ski masks, unsuccessfully attempting to open the vehicle.


The officers were able to locate and arrest all three suspects nearby.
