Suspects arrested for series of thefts from autos

While Birmingham police officers were out doing routine checks of the area of Grant Street and Bennaville Avenue on Tuesday, November 22, they noticed two males walking up driveways and around parked cars at several residences.

The subjects began to flee on foot when they spotted the marked police car, starting a foot chase that ended with officers apprehending the subjects. Several items that were reported stolen from cars in the area were found on the two men.

Birmingham police reported the subjects were arrested in connection with several larcenies from autos.
