Suspects arrested on multiple retail fraud charges

Two shoplifters were arrested after stealing numerous items from Market Square in Birmingham on Monday, January 23.

A Birmingham police officer was dispatched to Market Square, at 1964 Southfield Road, after receiving a report of retail fraud suspects returning to the store. A witness reported seeing two suspects take several items from the store without paying the day before.

According to police, the suspects were also involved in a retail fraud in Beverly Hills on January 23, before coming back to Market Square.

Both suspects were identified and arrested for retail fraud by the Beverly Hills police department.
