The Bloomfield Township Police Department on Sunday, May 4, responded to 2400 S. Telegraph, Target, for retail fraud that just occurred.

When officers arrived the loss prevention officer had one suspect detained in their office. The loss prevention officer explained that they observed the suspect, Kayla Harris, walk into the store empty handed.

Harris then proceeded to select a tan bag and fill it with 10 items varying from clothing to make up totaling $158.96. Harris walked past all points of sale without attempting to pay for the merchandise.

Harris was issued a citation for retail fraud third degree and released from the scene pending her court case.
