While a group of teenagers were hanging out in Birmingham, a 14-year-old from Bloomfield Hills allegedly punched another 14-year-old girl multiple times on the night of Saturday, May 17, after leaving a store near the 400 block of S. Old Woodward.

The victim reported to Birmingham police that while she and her group of friends were in the store, which included the alleged assailant, the two girls “exchanged words” while checking out. She said the girl punched her after they left the business.

Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing.
