Two teenage females from Dearborn, one 15-years-old and the other 16-years-old, were arrested in Birmingham the night of Friday, September 5, after allegedly assaulting another 15-year-old from Commerce Township near Merrill and Old Woodward.
Per the police report from the Birmingham Police Department, officers that were patrolling the area heard one of the teens yelling, and once they spotted them they witnessed the 16-year-old slap the victim. Reportedly, the officers separated them and called the parents, and when they investigated further they found out about the other 15-year-old involved in the incident.
The two Dearborn teens allegedly approached the victim from behind, punched her in the face and threw her to the ground, leading the parents of the 15-year-old victim to press charges against both of the girls. Birmingham police reported placing the 16-year-old under arrest, and said the investigation is ongoing.
