Ten bottles of tequila taken in grocery rip-off

Two women were seen on surveillance cameras stealing 10 bottles of Casamigos tequila from Nino Salvaggio's on Thursday, September 7, and placing it in their shoulder bags.

According to Bloomfield Township police, around 3 p.m., they arrived at Nino Salvaggio, 6592 Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township, to respond to a retail fraud which had just occurred. Store management informed officers that two black females, between the ages of 30 and 40, were seen on surveillance footage in the store stealing 10 bottles of Casamigos tequila, valued at $400.

The females were seen placing the bottles into a shopping cart and then began placing those bottles into their shoulder bags. The women left the grocery store without paying for any of the liquor.

The case is currently under investigation by the Bloomfield Township Police Investigations Unit.
