A Detroit man had his car broken into in the early afternoon of Friday, June 6, while it was parked in a lot on the 100 block of Saint Andrews in Birmingham.

The man reported to Birmingham police that he had parked in the lot an hour earlier and came back to find the car doors were open and items were missing. Birmingham police reports indicate that the owner thinks he left the key in the cupholder.

The Birmingham Police Department states that, while there are currently no suspects, an investigation is ongoing.
