A 29-year-old woman from Tennessee was arrested in Birmingham on Friday, March 20, after allegedly stealing over $700 worth of merchandise from a clothing store in the 100 block of S. Old Woodward.

Birmingham police reported that the woman also had a fake out-of-state driver’s license, a fake social security card, and a debit card belonging to someone else on her person. They later found out that she had extradition warrants from multiple other states.

Police reported that she had a medical condition and needed medication, so she was admitted to the hospital, but an investigation is ongoing.
