Thief steals credit cards, medication from car

After receiving an alert from her home security system on Monday, December 9, a Birmingham resident found out a man had broken into her car and stolen a bag that had credit cards, medication and a key fob for the car.


The victim and her husband reported the incident to Birmingham police at the station, saying the incident happened the day before around 1 a.m. Witnesses reportedly confirmed seeing an unknown man entering the car and taking the bag. An address for the resident's home was not made publicly available.


Birmingham police say an investigation is ongoing.
