Thousands of dollars of goods stolen from Plum

Thousands of dollars in supplements and vitamins were stolen from the Plum Market at 3675 W. Maple Road in Bloomfield Township on Thursday, June 13, around 8 p.m.

Plum Market employees told Bloomfield Township police that four unknown females came into the store and then stuffed the vitamins and supplements into their clothing and under their long skirts before leaving the store without paying.

They stole between $5,000 and $7,000 worth of merchandise.

The Bloomfield Township store wasn't the only victim of this type of theft, according to the Plum Market store manager, who said similar crimes had also happened at their locations in West Bloomfield and Ann Arbor.

This case has been assigned to the Bloomfield Township Investigations Division. Those with information about the case are asked to call 248.433.7755.
