Thousands stolen from unlocked vehicle

Over $1,000 in sunglasses and Amazon packages were taken from a vehicle in the 5800 block of Cohasset Lane in Bloomfield Township the evening of Monday, April 1.


Bloomfield Township police began their investigation the next day on Tuesday, April 2, and found no signs of forced entry into the vehicle, which appeared to be unlocked.


Items stolen included a $600 pair of Dior sunglasses, Gucci sunglasses valued at $400, and $100 in Amazon packages.


The Bloomfield Township Investigations Unit is currently investigating.
